I am missing Settings > Live TV & DVR in Plex Web App and in Plex Server

I have lifetime pass, did not use Plex in the last few months. Now I cannot access my SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex 4K tuners. Help suggest that might be something with my payments but there is no help or support you guys are the same like Amazon hide support links so nobody can wake you up with a question, or maybe your AI is sleeping too.

The account you are using to post in this here forum has a Plex Pass.
However, there is no server connected to this account.
It appears that you have deleted the server from your account today. It is to be expected, that you won’t see the controls to configure that server if you do so.

A little bit more information about what you did, and about your server etc. would have been better than posting accusations right away.

Yes I deleted the server that I’m the web app after I could not reach my tuners

Where is the link to support? I do not like chats I do not like TickTok Facebook Meta and all other life sucking apps

I need a help button that can give me answers

Server is still running on the same pc. I deleted in an effort to reconnect the DVR

I do not have the option enabled in server app ( Win10) or on web browser ( Edge)

Can you show me how to enable something that was working before and now is missing ?

There is no tech support from Plex, there is no chat (AI or human), there is no email. The entirety of this company’s help is fellow Plex-heads (me), semi-official Plex volunteer help (Ninjas, such as OttoKerner here), and (rarely) an actual dev reply if nobody else knows.

Otto is able to look into your account and see how many of what servers you have. Since you deleted your server, your account no longer is associated with the server. Even if you started it back up, you must “claim” the server for it to be on your account. Then, any client (most likely web) logged into the same account can now modify server settings, such as DVRs.

Claim your server, then check server settings for DVR settings. I have been able to access my HDHomeRun by going to settings, scrolling past the section that displays my server name (Top red arrow), then going to the bottom of “Manage” and clicking “Live TV & DVR”.

You are correct except that Plex server I installed this morning received an update in Microsoft store

After I updated everything was in place and there was no pain to add a network OTA tuner

So you will think that I have no clue ( despite the fact that it was working well and I did not need any help to configure) and I will think that somebody pushed the wrong version on Microsoft store. Or maybe was a magic wand who reconfigure my Plex profile … I will never know.
