I can't add any media after updating to DSM 7

So I decide to update DSM from 6 to 7, I did that and installed the PMS for DSM 7. First of all, it’s a new fresh install so my whole library stopped working. Pretty annoying.

Due to the new install I had to add my media again in Plex. But it won’t show up. Drives me insane!

I’ve fixed all permissions and so on. Still won’t work. I should’ve never updated, everything worked flawless before and I had fixed every Plex poster and tons of collections etc.

Here’s how the permissions are set, I can’t see anything wrong with them. FILM is granted. Also every sub-folder were the media files are stored are granted.

I restarted the NAS after applying them also.

The service name isn’t MediaServer.

The service name , from the “System Internal Users” dropdown, is “PlexMediaServer”.

In the screenshot you show, you are showing “Local users”. This is incorrect.
Change that to “System Internal User” and you will then see “PlexMediaServer” to select.
