# I cant connect to my plex server

I have a plex media server running on an NVIDIA sheild. i can no longer connect to it using my PC on the same network? It used to work just fine. How do i discover my server on the PC

Did you reset your password and sign out of your devices recently as part of the data breach? if you did then you have to reclaim your server on the shield.

If not then what happens with each of these URLs exactly? Screenshot the errors if that helps.

I am sorry for jumping in, but I seems as symanl7 has the same problem I have… and many had before, searching the forums… maybe most were successful with the solution you provided?!

I have tried reclaiming my sever as you mention above, but I get the error:

# This site can’t be reached

**192.168.178.20** refused to connect.

Try:

- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR\_CONNECTION\_REFUSED

I can log into the web interface but there is no reference to my server. I can access and watch a friends sever from there. So my access and settings seem to be still there, but not the server.

Please see my post as a reference. I can ping my server on its IP address. I tried to SSH it, without success. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
