I have lifetime plexpass but no Premium Music Library option is shown

I am running PMS version 1.12.0.4829 in a FreeNAS jail (I updated the standard freeNAS Plex Plugin) but for some reason, there is no additional options tab on the left when creating a music library in Plex in order to select the premium library type. Please advise how I get a premium music library.

After adding the folder via “Browse For Media Folder”, you should indeed see an additional section “Options” (between “Add folders” and “Advanced”). However this is only available during the initial setup of the library. You can not changes this after the library is created.

So if you want to “upgrade” an existing library, you’re out of luck. Create a new one and link it to the exact same folder. When you’re done you can delete the original music library.

Thank for the info, but even after I click through after selecting the folder, no “options” item is added. As you can see in the screenshot, I already selected the folder and yes, it is already full of music.

so… now read the 2nd part of my previous post

FreeNAS is based on FreeBSD. The necessary libraries for the Gracenote functionality are not available on this platform.

You might have better luck by using a Docker container.

@tom80H I was in the process of creating a new duplicate library and so I still was not seeing what was expected.

@OttoKerner thank you for the info. It would seem I need to look in to using docker on FreeNAS rather than the jails plugins
