There is a problem with PMS 1.42.1.10054. Plex is aware of the issue and working to find a solutions.

There are many others experiencing the same thing: [https://forums.plex.tv/search?q=core%20component%20after%3A2025-08-07%20order%3Alatest](https://forums.plex.tv/search?q=core%20component%20after%3A2025-08-07%20order%3Alatest)

If you’ve an older version of PMS, you could install it instead. Otherwise, nothing for you to do but wait for Plex to fix things.

If you do fall back to an older release, be aware of the security problem with PMS 1.41.7 to 1.42.0: [Plex Media Server - Security Update](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-media-server-security-update/928341)
