What if you and your friends could watch the same content together at the same time (AKA a Plex Party). I don't have the first idea on how to start this & if this is the right forum section.   Basically invite your friends myPlex ID & start a "Watch Room" with them.   Just an idea I had and thought it would be fun.   I would love to hear what you guys & gals think. ---

That would be cool! Even cooler if there was a chat function so you could share thoughts whilst watching something! ---

[RARFlix](https://forums.plex.tv/topic/79897-rarflix-modified-roku-channel/) can do this, kind of.  It allows you to look at your now playing, and sync your video to the other person watching from your library.  I've done this with my BFF on the other side of the country a couple times - watching the same movie at the same point and gabbing about it in Google Hangouts is pretty nifty. No included automation, and not exactly the feature you've indicated... but cool none the less and somewhat in the area of what you're requesting. ---

Thanks David! I hope the Plex team sees this and decided to look into it, would be a good PlexPass feature. I have the same problem as you, me being in Florida & my friend over in California. ---

Yeah I'd like to see it as well, it's neat.  The Xbox 360 used to have watch parties in Netflix - not sure if they still do.  My friend and I used to do that as well.  It's not in the XBox One unfortunately, which would be especially cool with the kinect. ---

You should post this in the feature request forum. It’s more likely to be seen by other users and that’s the official way to make feature requests. This forum is specifically for developers using the Plex framework ---
