Server Version#: 4.140.1 Player Version#: N/A I have Plex Media Server running on Raspberry Pi OS 12 (bookworm.) I am moving to a fresh install on a new SD card. I have backed-up the preferences.xml file and also the library. When I run the new install there is no image cache / thumbnails etc. I know that it can populate it by downloading everything fresh from the internet. However, I am wondering if there are certain files / folders that I can copy across as this would be quicker? ---

The only way to take it to the new SD card, and keep everything intact, is to make an image (tar ball) backup of `/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library` and then extract it on the new SD card. When you do this, you keep: 1. Your Preferences.xml (identity and preferences) 2. Your database (of all the indexed media) 3. All the metadata 4. All the thumbnails 5. Any customizations (posters, etc) you have made. ---
