# Image Size Issues

Server Version#: 1.18.7.2457-77cb9455c (Debian Linux)  
Player Version#: 2.2.0 (LG WebOS)

I have many photos that are digitized slides and are TIFF format. The image size of the slides are around 356 MB. When I try to display images of this size, there is a Playback Error. If I reduced the size of these images to under 100 MB, then they load successfully. Thumbnails work fine for either image size.

Is there some way to get the larger images to be displayed using Plex? I’ve searched around and haven’t found any discussions about a limitation in image size in Plex. I have not currently upgraded to Premium. Thanks for any insight that can be provided.

Well it took me a while to figure out how to apply the setting you suggested, but once I did it allowed larger images to be display. Thanks very much for your help
