# \[Implemented\] No sort by Language?

Was a bit shocked to see I can’t sort movies by Language in the web app. I got dozens of movies for my family who primarily speak a different language (and I don’t), so it’s going to be a bit tedious sifting through my Library now.

You can filter your libraries by available languages. This will work as an individual filter or as part of an advanced filter w/ combinations of criteria.

Thank you! I actually just found that. But it isn’t showing the language of the movies I just added. Is there a way for me to fix that?

In case Plex had not yet picked up the language information from your audio tracks, it might help if you perform the `Analyze` action from the movie context menu.

If that’s not helping you should check out the file’s stream headers. For MKV files you can e.g. use MKVToolNix to set/change the language codes for all tracks. On a Mac you can use Subler to do the same for MP4/M4V containers.

2021 clean-up: implemented
