# Improve video quality when hardware transcoding on Haswell devices

Plex media Server 1.9.7.4441 contained the following fix:

(Transcoder) Video quality improvements when hardware encoding on Broadwell and Braswell devices (#6914)

Please do the same for Haswell devices. The video quality has been alot worse since it left beta status?

Media server update Version 1.10.0.4516:  
(Transcoder) Hardware encoding had reduced quality on Windows with Intel GPUs in some cases (#7887)

Thanks you, it resolved this issue.
