# Incorrect album release dates

Rescanning won’t likely fix it. It will just look for the existence of the files.

You need to Refresh Metadata, at the Artist level, to bring in the updated data.

If that fails, the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) should fix it up.
