Plex really is a joke. For two hours I have been trying to add media without any joy. Click on “Your Media” and you geta page asking you to “Get Plex Media Server”. I have already done this…about 8 sodding times !!! I have looked at various web pages telling me how to add media. None of it of any help. Where is the option to “Add media” Ive had this issue before then suddenly it worked when i hadnt done anything different. And now the same issue once again ---

First of all thank you for the detailed reply. Unfortunately all of that is useless to me. I click on more and nothing is offered bar “Your media”. did you try using the ip directly? if you installed plex SERVER on the same computer you are using for browser, just click [http://127.0.0.1:32400/web](http://127.0.0.1:32400/web) assuming you are using windows, you should have an icon down in the corner ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/a/f/affc508100317606b3dc67ec1f98aff5909b0693.png) you can also right click this icon to open the browser to the ip ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/5/2/5216a2fe61953716197acc7cba8be0ff6dbb7dd3.png) then you should be asked to sign in the server, use the same account as your forum login here ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/0/3/03a1de08de872d8cc6815a2d7f66199bf1de76d8.png) then it should take you to the screens I posted earlier where you can add/edit a library to add the media paths. edit: it looks like you have TWO different plex accounts, make sure you pick ONE and use the SAME one for both the server and web. there are 2 different sign ins, for you to setup the server, the web browser must be signed into the same one. for the web, top right icon ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/0/2/025a0ed5f8de33ad90702066d5afe3179d79e0c7.png) as for the server, you can sign in/out in the settings from the aforementioned plex web or ip urls ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/e/1/e169b16627bbfb18aa5c5a63586dde7a096b879b.jpeg) ---
