Hello, since the launch of the “Intro detection” feature, it has never worked for me, both on server and client side: the server starts the detection but never stops (hours later I have to restart the server to stop it), and the player never show the “skip” button. Any advice? Change your schedule to allow it to work when you’re asleep, maybe from 1am to 6am, and let it work for a week. Maybe it’s just taking longer than you realize it should? If it’s still working outside of those hours you’ll know something isn’t working right. If you don’t see any Skip Intro buttons after a week you’ll know something isn’t working right. ---

Thanks for your answer, it’s already scheduled to be working from 1am to 8am, and it’s been the case since the feature launched… It’s always working after hours and the progress circle in the dashboard does not move. I have a Mac mini 2019 so it’s not a performance issue. ---

Sounds like it’s busy doing something else that’s getting in the way of that task. Do you have other scheduled tasks that _are_ being completed during the 1-8am hours? Like, when you add a movie does it generate thumbnails immediately, during the scheduled hours, or not at all? If it’s supposed to generate them during the scheduled hours but those aren’t being done either that tells you that something else is running and you’ll have to go to the logs to find out what it is I think. ---

Yes all other tasks are being completed (chapter thumbnails, video previews…). One weird thing I’ve noticed is that even if I see the intro detection progress bar some times, I’ve checked the XML of a few shows that have been analyzed and the intro markers are not there… ---
