# iOS off line Plex Pass

Hi

I understand that if I pay for the iOS app you can stream shows from a plex server over a data connection but if I want to download so I can watch off line do I have to have a Plex Pass?

Yes, the server owner has to have his server logged in under a Plex pass enabled account for mobile sync to work -
