# iPhone live TV recording playback issue

One recording a program on my PLEX DVR if I try to play it on my iPhone, it goes to the start of the program all the time it will never allow me to go to live TV. This has been happening since they updated to a new version of the iOS app. I’ve tried to report one others chat but decided to start one. Nothing has been done. I’ve been suffering with this ever since the beginning of new version of this app in April. Please let me know whenever log as you need. I overwrite them to get this fixed.

How do I get help from Plex? I haven’t fixed this issue yet.

I also get this issue. Super annoying to the point where I don’t want to start watching anything on my phone because I know if I have to close playback for any reason and try to come back it’ll be at the start of when I started watching it and I can’t skip ahead to ‘live’. On the android and windows app as well as browser I get the option to ‘start at beginning’ or ‘watch live’. on the iOS app I don’t get those options. Most noteably when trying to watching sporting events.

They just updated the app G shocker did not address it. Can you please look into this?

Same here. Seems related to or the same as [iOS / iPadOS Does Not Ask to Watch Live and Does Not Seek to End when Recording - #14 by jrg](https://forums.plex.tv/t/ios-ipados-does-not-ask-to-watch-live-and-does-not-seek-to-end-when-recording/932397/14) . Very annoying.
