# iPlayer broken?

If I try to watch anything via the iPlayer plugin it loads the images of the show with the ‘Click to play’ overlay, but doesn’t actually start playing.
Thinking about it, does having that overlay mean that the plugin is basically rendering the flash on screen?
If so wouldn’t it be better to show the content of the actual stream rather than the flash container? I’ve a feeling that iPlayer is now mp4 streams and I think the XBMC plugin just plays that.
Just an idea 🙂
