# Ipv6 support for myplex

Hi,

I just ran&nbsp;across&nbsp;this post&nbsp;[http://forums.plexapp.com/topic/64389-publish-server-via-ipv6/](http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/64389-publish-server-via-ipv6/ "Link: http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/64389-publish-server-via-ipv6/") and since I didn't find any feature request for it yet here it is. :)

I know since this is aws wonderland there is no ipv6 support for ec2 instances yet. Except you do it via the load balancer which has ipv6 support.

But an api call to myplex to store the ipv6&nbsp;address&nbsp;of the server is all that is needed atm :) Well and probably some fixes in the clients.
