I voted for this as I would love to be able to at least see my Movies Anywhere (MA) library from my Plex Media Server (PMS), even if it was just a placeholder to show me I do already “own” that movie. Plex, can we please have some form of MoviesAnywhere integration??
For example, I have Guardians of the Galaxy on my PMS and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on MA. It is a bit annoying to need to know which service to go; I use PMS for almost everything but have a few digital movies in MA.
I suppose a workaround to this would be to build a custom “connector” on my server that connects to Movies Anywhere and makes empty files for the movies I have there and adds a tag “MoviesAnywhere” to the title description.
From a quick search, I found a script someone on another Plex post made to create a CSV for movies on VUDU, which shares content with MoviesAnywhere - this could easily be used to generate “empty” files with the correct file names which perhaps TinyMediaManager could then quickly restructure in to the proper folder structure. Sounds like a mini project.
