Does the plex ban public subnetworks?
Since Jan 5, My server can’t access the plex.tv site.
Logging into the plex.tv website through my browser is also problematic. However, if I use a VPN to login on the plex.tv site, that works.
I have already called my internet provider about this. The strange thing is that it only affects the area where I live. My brother, who lives nearby, wasn’t able to even load the plex.tv site on his browser. I tried accessing the plex.tv site from a different city (same internet provider) and I was able to access the plex.tv site.
Plex does not ban any IPs. We will place a temporary block if there are too many login attempts for your account. These are at most an hour and reset themselves after that. Reviewing your account, I do not see any of these blocks on your account, so whatever the issue is, it’s not coming from our end that I can tell.
we do not block IPs except those from which multiple failed sign in attempts occur which is sign of someone trying to brute force figuring out a password. and those blocks are only temporary. i see no block on your account.
@BigWheel @MovieFan.Plex,
Thanks guys!
For some reason, my server back up!
I’ll ask the internet provider if they did something on my connection.
Again, Thanks!
