# Is plex down?

I have just launched the plex app on my tv and get a 500 error I also get a error when going to [plex.tv/web](http://plex.tv/web) but I can access my media server fine by using my local ip. Whats up with this?

Please recheck it.

There was a micro blip with it … you must have caught it at exactly the wrong moment.
