Ya. My server even says its accessible remotely but [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) doesn’t work whether I’m outside the network or on. It just says the plex server is unreachable.

that’s odd… I can tell you it doesn’t appear to be a general issue.
I’ve just tested this from various clients / browsers inside and outside my home network and could access them all.
also no outages reported on the status homepage:

Ya idk. Maybe carrier related. A couple people on the plex media server forum said theirs stopped working and then it started working again just now

There are about 4-5 posts on reddit talking about this as well, small group of people so it’s oddly happening to a few people, me included. It just popped back up for me and dracker. Same thing happened earlier. When it was down I tried rolling the docker back, port forwarding, using 2 different dockers, nothing worked. It would randomly come and go.

I don’t know about down, because I can access plex web via work, and its working on my phone (LTE not wifi), but something is weird…

Someone recently explained this might be related to some of the checks Plex does running late or timing out. So Plex Web might falsely claim your server is not available remotely when it actually is.
Frankly speaking… if you can access it and your only problem is the indicator showing it wrongly… return to enjoying your remote watching session 😉

but this obviously affecting multiple users, and not necessarily in the same way, so something is up somewhere.

I was hit by the same. My server showed fully accessible outside your network but my server was offline according to plex apps and [plex.tv](http://plex.tv). I spent the last hour going through port forwarding settings, open port checks and even uninstalling the last windows update and turning off the AV & firewall. Finally I gave up, turned on verbose logging so I could give Plex a log with it failing and of course it worked like normal. I turned the logging off again and it still worked so not convinced it was something my end but happy it’s working.

Having the same issue, it says it’s available outside the network but when I try I cannot access at all, I guess it’s a problem. I still can’t access my server ☹

Same here, plex says “Fully accessible outside your network”.
However, I can’t connect on a remote connection.

I’ll add to it. Can access remotely via web but iPhone and Samsung TV apps not able to. Server says no remote access, disabling and re-enabling I get the green check that remote access is up but only working remotely through web. Checked via a few VPN locations.
There is a word wide DNS system upgrade occurring, perhaps it’s related…

Having the same issue. Server says its accessible outside of network, But its not. Similar to the issues we had the other weekend just gone. Maybe this is a new feature that only allows us to use Plex during week days & disabled on the weekends? Who knows 😉
