# Is Plex.tv down right now?

I’m getting the message that Plex is down for maintenance right now … I can’t see any comments about an outage right now.

It’s odd because Plex is always reliable and I can only ever remember one other outage.

There really should be a way to be able to run plex without an Internet connection considering all the content is locally on my own server.
