Okay so this is what I have on my server it only shows 3 shows when I have more in the destination folder. I have deleted the grouping on my server and reloaded it and it still only comes up with the three shows. If I move the other folders into a non TV Show group (Movie Group) they show up but not grouped together i think I am labeling things right.

P.S. the 3 that show up I didn’t change the labeling at all that’s how I got them from a buddies hard drive

Plex expects a defined file naming & organization. Especially for TV shows. My Plex experience became a lot less frustrating after learning the Plex Way.

Here’s the link to the info:

For your specific media shown above, check out the TV Show Files information. After you rename & reorganize, you may want to do the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) to get everything in Plex correct:

> [@The Plex Dance ™](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064):

> The purpose of this is to remove all cached metadata and xml data for an item that Plex usually keeps. This helps when you want to “start from scratch” for particular item move all files for the media item out of the directory your Library is looking at, so Plex will not “see” it anymore scan the library library (to detect changes) empty trash clean bundles (in menu next to server name, when accessed under ‘More’) double check naming schema and move files back scan the library Support articl…

Plex uses [thetvdb.com](http://thetvdb.com) for episode ordering.

To use Tailspin as an example:
tvdb listing: [https://thetvdb.com/series/talespin/seasons/official/1](https://thetvdb.com/series/talespin/seasons/official/1)

Plex file structure:

```auto
/Children's TV Shows
  /Tailspin
    /Season 01
      /Tailspin - s01e05.avi
      /Tailspin - s01e06 - It Came from Beneath the Sea Duck.avi
```

Plex ignores everything after SxxEyy. It doesn’t matter to Plex if you add the episode names or not.

Many people find [Filebot](https://www.filebot.net/) helpful if they have to rename a large number of files.
