hi on netflix they announch to you when ever there is a new serie coming or movie is it possible with plex to have that option to when i put a new tv show episode on plex or a whole new tv show or movie that my friends on plex family wil get a notification when the new movie wil arrive or tv show?

There’s a number of feature requests on user messages / notification capabilities in various flavors. You could check those out and throw your vote behind the ones you like.

ok ye a features as that would be nice then my friends family know when i post a new tv show or episode or new movie old wil they make those features if it get’s enough votes?

i don’t get it why they not added that feature yet it’s a nice feature that people can get a notification when you upload new episode or tv shows or movies im a guy that is aiming high for a high library i have alot already im aiming for around 200 300 tb i buy each month 1 or2 8 tb hardrives atm i have around 50 60 tb

i wil check that out thnx but what i mean i also have a netflix subscrition on netflix you get a notification bell on the right side where a red dot icon that wil show you what’s new or what is coming to netflix that would be great if plex makes that to. that kind of plugin i want to for plex so when i add something my friends family wil see what is coming to plex
