# Issues With Extras

I have been playing with adding special features to some of the movies in my collection and I have been running into a few issues…
1. Plex seems to be using the file name for some files but not others. Here is one example:
2. When using the Multiple Editions feature, Extras do not show up at all. For The Cell, I have my files organized in this manner:

1. This is an unfortunate side effect of Plex’s overzealous parsing of “Opening” and “Ending” in extra names, assuming it’s an opening/ending sequence. The only way I know to get around this is to remove those words from the extras (and potentially replace it with a synonym).
2. This is a known limitation, since Plex doesn’t know what edition to attach the extras to. Arguably they should be attached to all editions, but that’s not how it currently works. You need a top-level folder for each edition, each having their own extras (you can use links to avoid tripling the storage space required).
