Server Version#: 1.40.2.8395 Hi, hoping someone can offer some advice here. I’ll also say up front while, when it comes to windows, i know what i’m doing (i work in IT) when it comes to Linux (sort of, truenas) and docker, i’m rather clueless. The issue is when transcoding, i get the following line in the logs - Denying access due to session lacking permission to transcode key /library/metadata/20705 The number obviously changes depending on the file, and googling tells me that is not a folder path. Is anyone able to give me some advice on this? possibly after pointing out all the important info i haven’t thought to include? thanks! ---

No one has any idea what this error means? I’m not looking for a solution on a plate here guys, just a point in the right direction, as as it stands, I have no idea what this error means. I’m happy to do the leg work right now i have no idea where to start. Surely someone from plex can tell me what the error actually means? Please? ---

I’m having the same issue with my Plex server. For me it seems the error only occurs when trying to play media on a Windows based device or an Xbox. ---
