# Keep language settings on series

A suggestion.
Mainly we watch movies and series in Spanish but while I’m alone I always watch my series in original language and subtitles also original language. I just like it that way.
Now each time I end one episode of the series all goes back to default settings of the account and I need to set everything manually to what I like.
There should be a way that Plex remembers the settings last used in the episode you just finished but it doesn’t, this is quite annoying when you are doing a marathon of short episodes.
Because sometimes when editing the audio it gets de-synchronized and you need to get out of the player and go back in.
(Btw Netflix and prime video, do work as the above described)

Are you talking about videos on a personal Plex server, or about videos available for streaming from plex.tv?
Because in the former case, the manually selected audio and subtitle streams are indeed remembered.

You can override the language settings in your user profile, for a particular series by editing it.
This is how it looks for the server owner:
And that is how it is done for a shared or managed user:
