# Last 4 updates from Plex have failed

It was always that way.

It was never added (officially).

Maybe you have been using this 3rd-party software add-on: [PMS as a service](https://forums.plex.tv/t/pms-as-a-service/53381/1)  
I haven’t followed its development recently, so it might have lost the ability to perform updates.  
Or maybe you need to update the add-on itself to restore that ability.
