LG webOS Early Access App - Cannot Connect to Server

Player Version#: early access lg tvos “webos-preview”

Cannot connect to server in early access.
Lg OLED 65B8
Can access server fine if I leave early access.
Also have 3 other clients on the network. No issues.
All running latest. No errors

Seems to be quite a few people with this issue.
Any insight?

I have the exact same TV and have no problem.

Please make sure you have IPv6 disabled in LG network settings, Not the Plex app. We will start with this first

In NSW myself.

Turning off IPV6 on the tv and setting allow insecure connections and prefer insecure connections to Always allows me to use it.

If I leave IPv6 off and set insecure connections to local network. It fails to connect.

Also. If I run the original version and not early access. I can connect with IPv6 (although I don’t have it setup on router) on and insecure connections set to local network only

I have the same issue. Brand new LG OLED with webOS and I can’t connect to my plex running on a qnap. I do have a Samsung TV on the same network which is able to connect. I disabled IPv6 but still no dice.

Follow my response if you want to access the early access.
The problem here is it is promoting a non secure network. Which is not ideal and should not be the case.
I would imagine the early access does not have certs to handshake over the network.

Not an end user issue. A Plex issue.
