# Libraries are gone

Player Version#: iPhone Plex 8.34

Dear Sir or Madam, I have not used my NAS for 4 years now. I have a Synology DS918+ with updated DSM 7.1.1. Everything works after the update and the Plex Media Server is also accessible, but unfortunately my media libraries are now gone and if I want to create new ones I can only select the MEDIA folder on Volume1 but not the subfolders such as movies or series, music. What has changed? What do I have to do? Please help, I can log in everywhere but I can no longer see any media libraries and cannot create any with the correct folder. Thank you and best regards Chris

To add to Otto.

You must MIGRATE your existing server from DSM 6 → DSM 7  
(This is not an automatic upgrade)

This step is required first.

Ok, all is done, now created new libraries, working now, Dashboard adds Media now and Updating Medadata.
