# Libraries not visible

Thank you very much. I am currently going through all 4 steps on [Synology FAQ - Questions, Answers, and a few How-To's](https://forums.plex.tv/t/synology-faq-questions-answers-and-a-few-how-tos/490215/15) as you suggest. I am sure I completed it before, but you never know.

Is it a good idea/the best idea to connect a NAS directly to one’s computer, so that wireless connections don’t factor into things?
