See [Plex Data Folder](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/).

[Move an Install to Another System](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/) describes how to move your server to another system.

Plex Linux Tips: [Backup, Restore, or Clone your PMS installation](https://forums.plex.tv/t/linux-tips/276247/7) shows how to backup and move the [Plex Data Folder](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/) on Linux systems. You’ll need to modify the paths for Netgear and your future server.

FYI, if the NAS still works OK for storage, one option is to keep the media on the NAS and move Plex Media Server to another system, such as a mini-PC running Linux or Windows.

Edit: Just remembered a previous exchange. You were considering a Terramaster if I remember correctly. That would definitely be an upgrade over the Netgear.
