# Library not visible

NAS model?  
DSM version?

Please verify you are running Plex Media Server v1.18.5.

If so, you should update to the current public version, 1.43.4.10903.

The New Experience apps, such as 2026.19.1, need PMS 1.41.2 or higher ([reference](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-for-mobile-tvs-android-mobile-ios-android-tv-tvos-fire-tv/909610)).

The Synology Package Center has been updated with the current public PMS release. It should offer to update your server.

If it does not, then you can download the update from [plex.tv/downloads](http://plex.tv/downloads) and perform a manual installation.

Please do the following:

**1. Synchronize the NAS with a public NTP server.**  
Synology Control Panel → Regional Options → Time Tab → Time Setting  
Choose Synchronize with NTP Server  
Pick a server from the drop down list ([pool.ntp.org](http://pool.ntp.org), [time.google.com](http://time.google.com), etc.) and click Update Now.  
You should see status = Normal

**2. Configure the NAS to use a public DNS server**  
Synology Control Panel → Network → General tab  
Check the box to Manually Configure DNS Server  
Enter a public DNS server such as 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare), 8.8.8.8 (Google), or 9.9.9.9 (Quad9).

**3. Update Plex Media Server**  
Go to Synology Package Center. It should offer to update Plex Media Server.  
If it does not, you can download the update from [plex.tv/downloads](http://plex.tv/downloads) and manually install with Package Center.  
Be sure to download the correct file for the NAS’ version of DSM & CPU.  
If you pick the wrong file nothing bad will happen. It just will not install.
