I have a friend connecting to my PMS and they told me today it’s not working and something about going to [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link) which I did and entered in the code, I did this and now they can access my PMS but now under continue watching I see what they are watching and when I mark as watched it keeps coming back,
I went back to [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link) and it says I am signed in as me but should have signed is as different user, how do I fix this?

You go to Settings - Devices and remove their client device.
(Careful: don’t remove one of your own client devices. And you never want to remove your server from this list!)
When your friends are asked next time to link their device, they must themselves go to [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link) (login using their own [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) account, not yours)
After all you want their Plex client to be linked to their Plex account, not to yours.

Thanks so their device shouldn’t be showing up in my devices?
I have deleted their device and logged in to their account at [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link) and entered the code and all is good

Yes, you should only see devices in there which are connected to yur own account.
