Live DVR unable to Tune any channel

No Channels are turning with PLEX, I can watch them with the HDHOMERUN app. but all I get in PLEX is “unable to tune”

In PMP sometimes it says Code -1

Plex Media Server Logs_2018-09-29_16-27-56.zip (87.8 KB)

I have done a complete reinstall of plex and Still, all channels say “unable to tune channel”

yet they work on the HDHOMERUN APP

I have the same issue. Best I can tell it started a few days back. I tried a few things including deleting my DVR devices and recreating them. I have both a HD HomeRun Prime and a Hauppauge 22xx configured for PLEX.
I shutdown plex, cleared my log dir, rebooted, recreated the issue, shutdown plex and took a back up of the logs. Debug was set on.

I’ve moved my pending records that I care about to NPVR (using different tuners) until this get’s resolved. Plex had been running great for months until this.

It’s some sort of Plex Issue, I rolled plex back to 1.13.6.5339 and it works fine again. @Drake718, hopefully that will work for you too

Do you just uninstall then reinstall the old version? Or can you install the old version over the top?

I uninstalled, rebooted, and installed 1.13.6.5339 into the same dir. Same issue. I’m afraid there is something left behind by the previous install that is stopping it from working. Checking my recordings… the last recording from Plex was on 9/22 and I installed 1.13.8.5395 on 9/23 so I’m sure it was something in 1.13.8.5395 that broke it.

I’m afraid I have the same problem. I’m running Plex 1.13.8.5395 with a HDHomerun Quatro. No problems watching content from the Homerun app, but nothing will tune on Plex.

Feeling sort of Per-Plexed  by this whole thing. Does anyone have any news?

I’ve noticed that while I still can’t watch live TV via PLEX on the PMS (win10pro), shows started recording again after downgrading to 1.13.6.5339

I believe you have to delete the Windows Key . Delete the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc. registry key’

Uninstall using Control Panel
Delete Windows key

DO NOT delete the apps directory.

Reboot
Then Reinstall

At least, that is what I did
