# Live TV and DVR not working

Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973  
Player Version#: Plex web Version 4.14.2

I am using plex media server on an ubuntu 18.04 server with a silicon dust hdhr connect tuner.

In early November shortly after I installed plexmediaserver\_1.18.1.1973-0f4abfbcc\_amd64.deb  
all DVR recordings started to fail. This continued through the next three versions of plex media server including  
plexmediaserver\_1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892\_amd64.deb

Today I downgraded to version 1.18.0.1944 and Live TV and recording seems to be working now.

Any predictions as to when Live TV will start working in the current version? Or suggestions as to a version where the DVR is working? Any other suggestions for fixes or troubleshooting?

I have been using several different players (Roku, plex web, Android) and seem to be having trouble in all players. When recording or Live TV failed, I did check that I could watch TV on my HDHR tuner using another application.
