Live TV on Plex (not Tuner/DVR) seems to be working fine for many channels, but the Reuters channel has consistently been giving me problems.
When the free Live TV service was launched Reuters would play one segment and then fail to load further segments, spinning endlessly.
Today the channel will endlessly cycle between a countdown “Reuters now returns in [mm:ss]” and adverts. I would have thought this would be a popular channel, but i see no mention of the problems in the forums.
It’s funny, hilarious actually… The Reuters Stream on The Roku Channel doesn’t work either… and the similarities of those two ‘Services’ are uncanny, no, more like lost twins at birth they are EXACTLY the same - in every conceivable way.
All things being equal - and it appears they are - wait for somebody at Reuters to wake up and plug something back in. It appears to be an ‘Upstream’ issue.

Speaking of Roku, when the dedicated Reuters app was deprecated last year it was a huge upset. It was so great to see something from Reuters on plex, but the quality of the ‘service’ (as you put it) really leaves something to be desired.
Make no mistake - The Service serves only those raking in the ad cash.
All others are only there to provide the eyeballs that watch the ads.
When ‘someone’ realizes there are no ads being displayed in the media that never arrives - I’ll bet they fix it at warp 9.8.
