Live TV recording wrong show 1 HR early

Okay, I have a HdHomerun connect. I have turned off all other recording programs except my Plex. I’ve set up the DVR to record two nightly news channels. One @ 9pm the other @ 10pm.
The issue is that it’s recording the show and labeling it right. But when I go to play it back it’s recorded 1 hour ahead of the time it’s suppose to record. For example, the news that comes on at 9pm actually starts recording @ 8pm. but when I go to the live TV grid, the time shows and the program show up in the 9pm time slot. I can’t figure out why it keeps recording 1 hour before it should.
If I turn off all recording through Plex, and initialize the HdHomerun program on my NAS and set it to record the same news station it does it just fine. So, I need some help.

I give up! the Plex DVR/Live TV service is HORRIBLE! go back to the drawing board on this one and try again. I’m done trying to get this thing to work.

Is the clock on your DVR’s operating system accurate or is it set for standard time vs. daylight saving time, or maybe another time zone?

What happens if you go into the guide and watch a live show? Does the live show match up with the guide?

So I looked at my PC’s time/clock last night. The clock is set to the right time. I fiddled around with it and turned DLS off to see what it would do and of course it bumped the clock on the PC back one HR. So I put it back to DLS.
As for the guide, no what shows up on the guide (Live TV) is not what is actually on TV at that time. Here is a screenshot, on channel 2.1 it says “Let’s make a Deal” is on. But actually it’s the local news. (see attached)

Edit: I think what is playing on live TV is actually correct I think this big trial is just taking over all channnels. So to answer the question about if what’s on live is what it says is on the answer is yes. I believe the guide is correct.
There is another odd thing going on. I set it to record some older movies like “Armed and Dangerous”. When I went in to view them, the movie started playing in the middle of some other movie. If I tracked forward to the hour mark (54 minutes in) in time I found the actual movie I wanted to record. But it was like 53:33 min into it. I paused the moving on this next screen shot to show you exactly where the beginning of the movie is. And, it recorded 1:49 total time. But cut the ending of the movie of!!!
This thing is JUNK!

I have the same issue. I am seeing the guide as an hour off. All times are right. What do I need to change to match up with the correct tv listing times?

Unfortunately I just stopped using Plex to record anything. I just went back to using the HDHomerun software. Plex never offered me a solution so I gave up. If you do find one, please let me know.

I have the same problem as the OP. The workaround of setting the system clock on the server ahead an hour it records properly. This is not a solution and should never have to be done for software that is considered to be out of beta.

Aside from the possibility of it being a bug, the behavior seems like the DVR was not set up properly and/or Plex got the wrong location or time zone, thus causing problems with the guide mapping.
