I am wondering if anyone else within the UK using a HDHomeRun and Plex Live TV notices the following behaviour when watching live tv streams such as ITV1, Channel 4 and even some BBC channels. At the end of a programme, when the adverts/commercial breaks are broadcast, the player will pause or buffer and take 2-3 seconds to return and in some cases I will receive a playback error and returned to the EPG. I then have to return to the channel to continue watching the stream.
This seems like odd behaviour and I have noticed it is very specifically whenever adverts/commercials or content in between programmes is broadcast.
Is this related to the commercial skip detection software running on PMS? Does this run during Live TV streams and cause streaming issues/errors?
