# Local posters don't get recognised after refreshing metadata

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9314  
Player Version#: 4.141.0  
After manually embedding the poster into the file, local posters are not recognised after refreshing metadata. Plex recognises that the file has changed and refreshes metadata but doesn’t grab the poster. I use a “Personal Media” Agent, and changing to “Plex Personal Media” doesn’t help either. For both agents “local media assets” is checked. Analysing also doesn’t help, but I tried.  
Only when deleting the files, emptying the trash in Plex, and manually adding the identical file back in does the poster load.  
Please add in the ability for “refresh metadata” to also update and grab newl added posters. Thank you!
