# Loosing all Plex Data and Settings...again

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364  
Mac Mini early 2014

Hi,  
Yesterday evening I wanted to watch via Plex, but EVERYTHING was gone. Every library and every setting. **This was the third time this year**. I’m not sure what causes this problem.  
Luckily I could restore the database from my Time Machine Backup.

The database on `~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/`  
was completely empty. Only **13MB auf Data.**  
My Backup has nearly **55 GB.**

I also restored the .plist from `~/Library/Preferences/`  
But this seems to did nothing.

The only thing I cant restore were the Shared Library configuration for my invited friend. This settings are gone. Again.

**How can I restore the shared library configuration?**

**What can cause this issue?**
