I’m running Rasplex on a Raspberry PI since a few weeks and I’m bothered by extreme low volume for dialogue. This is worse with action movies with lots of loud explosions and gun fire. I’ve tried messing with settings on my Samsung Smart TV and with the settings I found in the Plex app on de Raspberry. But both to no avail. I wasn’t having this problem with the Plex app on my TV (I moved from TV app to Rasplex because TV app was dead slow). I can’t find any solution to this. Can somebody help me? ---

My guess is you are dropping a channel. ---

You are probably downmixing from 5.1 to stereo. Go to “Preferences/System/Audio output” and play with “boost centre channel when downmixing” That should probably do the trick. If you are playing it through a home theater at 5.1 check the values and connection of the central channel ---
