# M4a files not being played in plex

Until about a week or so ago, could play my whole media music library without issue. Any device, any app. Now, I get a s3014 error. All my files are apple lossless (m4a). They worked fine for years and now they won’t work. If I convert to flacc, it works fine. Converting my library to flacc would be a nightmare. Please help

I have exactly the same issue, PMS web on Safari will not play ALAC files though will play MP3. Latest versions of PMS and Safari on Mac OS 10.15.7 (19H114). PMS is running on my QNAP NAS and have just updated to the latest version ( Plex Web Version 4.47.3, PMS Version 1.21.1.3830)

Having the same problem with all y music files. s3014 error if played in the desktop browser. Why?
