# Mac OS 15.2 Sequoia issue

Server Version#: 1.41.3  
Player Version#: safari  
\<If providing [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only [debug logging](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/#toc-1) should be enabled\>  
is it only me or Plex Media Server doesn’t launch anymore with Mac OS 15.2?  
it just doesn’t start at all, no icon, no nothing.

I’m not aware of a general issue.

If the Plex Media Server won’t start and doesn’t even get to the stage where it’ll be writing to the [server logs,](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) you can attempt the following procedure to see if there’s any error messages on the OS level:

1. Open Finder and navigate to `/Applications`
2. Select `Show Content` from the context menu of the `Plex Media Server.app` item
3. Navigate to `Contents/MacOS`
4. Open the `Terminal` app
5. Drag the `Plex Media Server` executable from the Finder window (#3) into the Terminal Window and press `Return` to execute it

This is no different from running the app, so it won’t succeed – but you should get a more specific error message about what’s causing it to fail starting.

I got this:  
libc++abi: terminating due to uncaught exception of type soci::soci\_error: sqlite3\_statement\_backend::prepare: database disk image is malformed for SQL: PRAGMA cache\_size=2048  
\*\*\*\*\*\* PLEX MEDIA SERVER CRASHED, CRASH REPORT WRITTEN: DBF1CC95-D1AD-44A0-BF74-8F71F0D1D371
