# Make the Music Shuffle Queue persistent

Hello
Would it be possible to make the Music Shuffle Queue persistent?
Let me explain.
I listen to my Music collection on Shuffle, however, if I want to watch a Movie, TV Show etc., upon returning to Music the place in the Shuffle Queue is lost and I have to start the Shuffle again which means listening to some of the same songs.
It would be useful to be able to keep the place in the Music Shuffle Queue until the Stop Button is pressed so that a Movie or TV Show can be watched and then I can return to listening to my Music from where I left off in the Shuffle Queue.
Hopefully this can be implemented at some time.

This issue has been raised in discussions here for at least the last three years but to no avail. I agree that this seems like a simple fix/add but has not been addressed. It’s something every other music player/software allows you to do. Come on Plex team!
