# Managed Users aren't able to download

I’m having trouble with managed users not being able to download videos. I have Plex Pass, and I have downloads enabled for the managed users - as far as I know, those are the two things required for this to work. Am I missing something? As Admin, I can click 3 dots and Download is one of the options. I assumed it was similar with Managed Users. See screenshot below:

And that’s your admin screenshot or the screenshot from your managed user?

Download is only available in Plex for Windows/Mac desktop app or the Android/iOS apps (preview) – not in Plex Web. The “download” option you might see as the admin should be triggering the regular browser download function… not a download to the client app.

That was a screenshot from the managed user. Thanks for the insight @tom80H, I’ll have my family get the app instead of using the browser.
