I hope this is the correct forum for this.

My understanding is that there is a limit of 15 managed users. Is there a way to increase this cap? I use firesticks and vpn for my family to connect back into my server. This allows me to avoid using the remote access functionality of plex.

Is there a config parameter that I can override to have more than 15(14+me)?

Thanks in Advance

You can have a total of 15 users (including yourself) as members of a Plex Home – that goes for family members with their own accounts as well as those with a managed users.

You can however share your server with a total of up to 100 friends etc. This limit is including members who are part of your Plex Home (so 85 if you have a fully maxed out Plex Home). – that being said, I couldn’t find a specific support article where this is number is mentioned. The limit has been mentioned and confirmed a number of times in the forum.

Thanks @tom80H.

I will give the documentation further reading.

Trying to differentiate a Managed User vs a Home user now.

My main goal is to continue sharing my library with friends and family who VPN in with a firestick. So when they used Plex, it’s as if they are local to my network.
