Server Version#: 1.23.3.4707 Player Version#: 4.57.4 I have added a new season of existing show to Plex, at the time TVDB didn’t have show titles or descriptions for new season. The next day I scanned the TV Shows library after seeing TVDB had added titles and descriptions. When they failed to work, I unmatched, matched. Did the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) three times. And finally removed the Agent Cache. When I scan the TV library it shows up the details instantly for S1 and S2 but season 3 still has no titles or descriptions. Any thoughts on what I’m missing here? ---

I don’t know how TVDB does it, but some databases don’t make new additions available to the API immediately. Sometimes it can take a few days. It may also be that Plex only syncs with the database every few days. Either way, it may be a few days before Plex will be able to match with a newly-entered database item. ---

Thanks for replying. I have just changed over to Plex TV Series agent and tried the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) and Cache removal again. Will wait and see if this new agent will process the changes shortly or would it still be subject to a lag as well? ---

It has nothing to do with the agent. It’s all dependent on when TVDB makes the additions available, and when Plex syncs with TVDB. That has to happen before _any_ agent could work. ---

I changed away from TVDB to Plex TV Series. yes… the Plex TV Series agent is also using metadata from online repositories like TVDb or TMDb. Give it a few days, then simply refresh the metadata for that show and you should be good. ---

Still wasn’t working today so I changed back to TVDB agent and now the new season is working. Thanks for everyone’s assistance on this thread. ---
