# Meta Data Problem

Please follow the link I’ve set above. It shows that the year should be enclosed in parentheses.  
After renaming the files, you may have to perform the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-incorrectly-identifying-tv-episodes/100265/4 "Plex Dance") to remove the mismatch from the Plex database.

Do also verify that your files don’t contain any contradicting information in their embedded ‘Title’ metatags. Best way is to remove these tags completely.
