So I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly where these posters for shows on my server come from, because a lot of them are similar amongst shows, but then other shows have almost none, or none like any of the others, so I was wondering (hoping) there was some website where people shared these posters and you could request someone apply their template to a specific show and fill your request etc.

Highlighted some different examples:

Check your plex library settings. Which is the metadata source selected?
Default is [thetvdb.com](http://thetvdb.com) (Posters are 680x1000 JPGs \<500KB not stretches normally with the serie name: [http://thetvdb.com/wiki/index.php/Posters](http://thetvdb.com/wiki/index.php/Posters))
you cannot request but you can add posters
